About me:
I was born in Birmingham, in the United Kingdom. I studied Law at Kent University and Chester College of Law, then worked as a trainee solicitor in London. After qualification, I moved to Liverpool, working first as a solicitor, then as an advice worker with Citizens Advice. I subsequently joined the Office of the Legal Services Ombudsman, where I investigated complaints about lawyers.
After completing an Open University Creative Writing Course, I studied for an MA in Creative Writing at Manchester Metropolitan University, gaining a Distinction. I live in Liverpool with my husband, two sons and two ginger cats.
When I’m not writing, I enjoy reading (of course) and hiking (I’ve recently climbed Snowdon and Scafell and am hoping to conquer Ben Nevis in the not-too-distant future). I also love puzzles of any kind, especially crosswords, sudokus and jigsaws.
I’m currently working on my second novel.
